Besides for Culpeper, where we live, Charlottesville is my all time favorite place! I lived there a couple of years during and after college, and quickly fell in love with everything that Charlottesville has to offer. All the restaurants, coffee houses, wineries, and the beautiful views. And speaking of wineries and beautiful views, one of my favorite locations is King Family Vineyards, because of their delicious Crose and the stunning view of the mountains! Carter and Chrissie became husband and wife at King Family Vineyards while surrounded by family, friends, and the mountains. Their wedding day was so them and I’m so honored that we were there to capture all those wonderful memories for them!
As soon as we met Chrissie and Carter for their Charlottesville engagement session, it was like reconnecting with old friends. They are such a sweet couple filled with so much love for one another, their families, and life in general. Chrissie and Carter love to laugh just as much as we do, and it was such a special thing to capture.
Chrissie and Carter love their family and really included them on their wedding day. Carter wore his father’s cufflinks which so happened to now match Chrissie’s new initials. Chrissie wore a veil that was made from her grandmother’s wedding dress, which her mother and sister both wore on their wedding days. She also wore her mother’s earrings as well as a special necklace that also had been worn by many women in her family on their wedding days. In her bouquet was a little crocheted angel that was specially made for her and in one of her blue shoes there was a six-pence. It was such a special time as Chrissie’s mother and sister helped her dawn these family heirlooms!
Thank you so much to these incredible vendors who helped make Chrissie and Carter’s wedding day amazing!
