Between Culpeper and Charlottesville, there is an adorable bed and breakfast called Walden Hall. Not only is the house beyond gorgeous and charming, but the property has amazing views! And their breakfast…oh my is it delicious! It was the perfect location for Melinda and Chris to get married surrounded by their family.
While we were all a little concerned about the weather since it is August and it can be extremely hot, they couldn’t have asked for a better day. Their was a slight breeze most of the day and cloud coverage during all their portraits. It seriously was the perfect August wedding weather! Melinda and Chris did get practice with taking pictures in the heat with their engagement session at Oatlands Historic House.
One of my favorite parts about Melinda and Chris’ wedding day was how intimate the day was. I loved getting to know their family and capturing all the love they shared for one another. Greg and I are both close with our families, so whenever I get to capture my brides and grooms that have a close relationship with their family, it makes my heart swell. And it wasn’t just how close they were with their individual families, but how close they are as one big family! Everyone was so excited to be celebrating such a special couple and the start of their marriage!
Melinda and Chris, congratulations on becoming husband and wife! You two are such a sweet and adorable couple! We are beyond excited for you as you start your married life together!
