When your whole relationship revolves around your college, it makes perfect sense to get married there! Justin and Monica met while at University of Virginia, he proposed to her in one of the gardens, and they were married there on August 25. They have quite the amazing story behind their wedding date, so I highly recommend you check out their engagement session to find out more.
Justin and Monica got ready at the Courtyard Marriott on the Corner in Charlottesville, Virginia. They were both so excited to see each other, but chose to wait until the ceremony for their first look. After they got ready, they each had their own private moment to read letters from each other. Justin wins the award for longest letter to his bride ever!
Monica wore a one of a kind dress, hand sewn by a friend. It was like she had two dresses, because Cathy designed a skirt that was attached to her dress. The skirt had a nice long train, but there was no need to worry about a bustle, because it was easy to remove. To top off her beautiful and classic look, Cathy created a stunning veil that perfectly complimented the dress and Monica’s hairpiece.
Monica and Justin, I cannot tell you how excited I am for you two as you begin this journey as husband and wife! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you two and capturing your love story!
Thank you so much to these incredible vendors who helped make Monica and Justin’s wedding day amazing!
