The morning of Sarah and John’s wedding had the threatening appearance of rain. When we arrived at East Lynn Farm, Sarah couldn’t have been more relaxed about it! “It’s going to rain before the ceremony and that’s it! “And she was right. After one little storm, the rest of the day was sunny and beautiful!
Sarah and John created a gorgeous rustic wedding! The day was full of sunflowers (Sarah’s favorite) and navy blue! All flowers seen throughout the day, Sarah picked at East Lynn Farm! They also incorporated some great details into their wedding day! Sarah wore the same veil as her aunt and sister and they used the same cake topper as Sarah’s parents’. Their officiant, John’s father, gifted Sarah a note written by John (at age 14) to his future wife! Now the last detail, no one knew until after the fact, which is good, because I would have bawled behind my camera! For their father-daughter dance, Sarah and her dad danced to “Butterfly Kisses.” What we didn’t know, including Sarah, was that the version we were listening to, her dad was singing!
Every wedding this year, we tried for sunset pictures but were never graced with a fiery red sunset. That is, until Sarah and John’s wedding day! The sunset was just magnificent! I can’t get over how stunning it was, with all its colors!
