Heather and Erez met on Tinder and say how lucky they are! After they were matched, they talked for a long time, before actually meeting in person. Heather texted Erez before their first date and said she did not have high hopes, but boy was she wrong! 🙂 They met at the A & D bar in Washington D.C. and the rest is history!
They enjoy spending time together with sushi, playing a game, trying a new recipe, or hiking. Spending time with their adorable puppy, Finley, is another thing Heather and Erez enjoy. Heather is also very crafty! I am talking, she DIYed almost everything for their wedding! We were super impressed with all the things she made, as well as all the details she thought of! Erez was super proud of everything and was showing us all the amazing things his bride has done!
I just love their proposal story, because it involves Heather’s mother helping Erez design the ring! The proposal was delayed many times while Erez and Heather’s mom had some design snafus they needed to take care of. But, their last trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving, Erez finally had the most perfect ring for Heather and he proposed then! Just wait until you see her ring! They did such a fantastic job designing it!
While planning their engagement session, Heather said, “How do you feel about indoor photos? We would like to take some pictures at the bar we met at! We have permission to use it before it even opens!” You best believe I said, “yes!!” to this! I always love when couples choose such sentimental locations for their engagement session!
For their second location, we went to the Spanish Steps. Honestly, I had no idea that they were even a thing, but my goodness are they gorgeous! Finley joined us at this location and he is quite the photogenic puppy! He was more than happy to hang around his parents and model for us! He is going to make the best “best dog” and is going to look super handsome in his suit!
I cannot wait for their September wedding at Rixey Manor!
